At CP Composites, we carry out industrial autoclave processing on our carbon fibre composite parts to remove trapped air and volatiles, resulting in quality cured final products.
Our autoclaves are capable of curing carbon fibre components for the automotive and motorsport industries. We operate two Italmatic autoclaves at our site in Huntingdon, with processing parameters of 100psi (6.9 Bar) and 200°C. Both machines are computer controlled with comprehensive cycle trace recording for improved accuracy and quality assurance throughout the process.
One of our two autoclaves has six vacuum lines and six thermocouple points for curing multiple composite parts at once. The additional autoclave on site has 12 vacuum lines along with 12 thermocouple points for even greater flexibility.
Our third and forth autoclaves have specialist processing parameters of 145psi (10 Bar) and 250°C temperature range. As with all our autoclaves it is computer controlled with comprehensive cycle trace recording for improved accuracy and quality assurance throughout the process. This is complemented by four vacuum lines and five thermocouple points.
